We are pleased to announce the next gathering for the Charity Ex-Pat Socials, to benefit the San Jose de Malambo Orphanage, which will be held at Rino's Restaurant on Monday 24th September 2007 from 6.30pm. The restaurant is located on Via Federico Boyd at the junction with Calle 50. Everyone is welcome, there is never an admission charge. Parking is available for those who wish to bring their car. For your minimum donation of $10 you will enjoy a great buffet style dinner. As always, there will be a cash bar. Smoking is permitted on one of the restaurants balconies. All donations and gifts for the children will be presented to the Nuns the night of the buffet. Thanks also to Rino who has made the evening possible by his added generosity. Come along and meet new expats, enjoy the delicious food and help an orphanage that needs it. We look forward to seeing you and thank you for your continued support and generosity.
A great idea that has been put forward is 'One for you and one for them'. When you are in the supermarket doing the weekly shop, buy one extra item and bring along on the night. Rice, spaghetti, tinned goods, etc. all non pershibles will be a great way to donate in addition to your $10.00. See the left hand menu and click on the NEEDS button for other ideas of what the children need the most.
At our last Charity Evening, held at Rino's Restaurant, we raised over $1,050.00. It was an excellent achievement, plus we managed to give many items that people brought as an extra donation, thanks to all those who attended. The sponsor of this event will be GSL Real Estate, please bring as many friends as possible to enjoy the evening, remember it is all for a good cause.
