29 October 2007. Another great evening for the charity ex-pats, this time at Rino's Restaurant and for a different cause. The funds raised tonight were given to the representatives of Asociacion Amigas Del Hogar Lucy Tzanetatos Del Hospital Del Nino. The charity is operated in Panama City and looks after the mothers of sick children who travel to the city from the interior. The mothers have nowhere to stay in the city, and therefore would not be able to remain close to their children except for the good work of this charity.

The food was nothing short of excellent once again. Rino really knows how to put on a good buffet with plenty of choice for all tastes. We managed to raise $840 on the night even though we only had 46 guests. |

There were several new people tonight who we saw for the first time. Remember to tell all your friends and put the word out there. The more people that come along, the more we raise for the charity. A big thank you as always to John and Yvonne for their donation even though they could not make it to the evening. A real thank you to those of you who gave more than the $10, it is always very much appreciated by the charities we support. Thank you once more to GSL Real Estate for sponsoring the event and paying for the evenings food for everyone.
